President
As President of IDC, Crawford Del Prete serves as a global thought leader and strategic customer advisor and also leads the IDC events portfolio. Prior to his current role, he served as IDC’s Chief Operating Officer where his leadership established IDC as one of the world’s most prominent and trusted market intelligence providers.
Crawford joined IDC in 1989 as a research analyst. Throughout his IDC career, he has grown multiple IDC businesses to industry leadership positions. He was instrumental in creating IDC’s high visibility research and data tracking products which are used daily in the IT industry for strategic planning.
Crawford is a leading authority on the IT industry and has completed extensive research on the structure and evolution of the information technology industry. He advises technology and business leaders on how to adapt and change in a time when technology is changing the world. He is frequently quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The New York Times and other leading media sources. He is a regular guest on Bloomberg Technology TV, offering insight and perspective on daily technology events.
He was awarded The Patrick J. McGovern Award for Management Excellence in 2014. In 1995, he was awarded IDC’s James Peacock Award for research excellence, IDC’s highest research honor.
Crawford holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and was named a Distinguished Alumni in 2012.

General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Renuka Drummond is IDC’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and is responsible for IDC’s legal, corporate compliance, and data privacy functions.
Renuka has over 20 years of experience driving transformational change within legal organizations by implementing technology and strategically developing teams. Prior to joining IDC, Renuka served as Chief Legal Officer at MediaKind, a video and media technology company spun out of Ericsson and a joint venture between Ericsson and One Equity Partners. She was instrumental in developing MediaKind’s legal, compliance, and privacy programs, was Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors, and led the company’s corporate development and DE&I programs.
Previously, Renuka also held positions as Assistant General Counsel of Global M&A at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where she executed on Cognizant’s M&A strategy, and Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she represented public and private companies in acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
Renuka has a B.A. from Wellesley College and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.

Tiziana Figliolia is the Chief Financial Officer at IDC, where she oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, procurement, real estate, and corporate development.
With nearly three decades of experience, Tiziana has held leadership roles in publicly traded, private equity-backed, and pre-IPO technology companies, bringing deep financial and operational expertise across diverse business models and growth stages.
Prior to IDC, Tiziana served as CFO at Hootsuite, a global leader in social media management, where she transformed and scaled the finance organization, accelerating the company’s path to profitability. She previously led Finance, Investor Relations, and ESG at InterDigital, and held the role of Senior Vice President of Global Business Operations at PTC. Earlier in her career, Tiziana spent 13 years at Autodesk, a global design software company, where she held senior leadership roles across three continents, including a nine-year tenure based in Shanghai, China.
Tiziana serves on the boards of Full STEAM Forward and Global Women Asia. She holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, as well as a degree in Economics from Università Cattolica in Italy.

As Chief Technology Officer for IDC, Andrew Hamel oversees IDC’s innovative research and development function, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning to help accelerate and enable IDC’s growth strategies.
A recognized leader in digital transformation and emerging technologies, Andrew has led global product development and engineering functions at several of the world’s leading technology companies. Most recently, he served as CTO of Booster Fuels where he digitized the entire customer experience and led the launch of its AI optimization efforts. Andrew’s experience also includes executive roles at LivePerson and Amazon, where he led Search, Machine Learning and Customer Experience Technology.
Andrew holds a degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico. He is also a board member for A Breeze of Hope, a global philanthropic organization focused on providing finance, education and technology assistance to those affected by childhood sexual violence.

A result-driven and visionary leader, Angelique plays a critical role in advancing IDC’s go-to-market strategy and growth initiatives across regions and segments. Throughout her career, Angelique has driven more than $30 billion in revenue by creating scalable, customer-centric programs across complex, fast-evolving markets.
Angelique brings over 21 years of experience accelerating revenue, expanding markets, and integrating acquisitions across startups, public companies, and Fortune 50 enterprises. She has led the acceleration of emerging markets and the integration and revitalization of acquired business units, driving notable success in cloud technologies, highly regulated industries, and high-growth sectors.
Most recently, Angelique served as Managing Director, Global Head of Commercial Growth at Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager. In her role at Blackstone, she advised investors and portfolio companies across numerous industries on go-to-market strategy, sales, marketing, and strategic M&A initiatives.
Her leadership roles have spanned some of the world’s most prominent companies, including Chief Revenue Officer of Skillsoft, SVP and Chief Revenue Officer for SAP SuccessFactors, North America and senior commercial positions at Microsoft, Keane, and IBM.

Ani Shehigian is IDC’s EVP, Transformation Business Operations and is responsible for IDC’s transformation center of excellence, including centralized project management, change management, and operations optimization. She also leads operations for the Office of the CEO, with a focus on enabling better cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, and alignment of IDC’s strategic initiatives.

Chief Product Officer
Jim Spare serves as IDC’s Chief Product Officer. He is responsible for guiding the evolution and growth of IDC’s global product portfolio, including AI-powered digital platforms, data and analytics products, subscription research, custom solutions, and more. Jim is a strategic, market-facing leader with deep experience scaling disruptive technology businesses from concept to exit by translating vision into strategy, developing high-performing teams, securing capital, and closing complex commercial deals.
Prior to IDC, Jim was president of Eko, a video-based, e-commerce SaaS company, where he achieved double-digit revenue growth and led a $250M joint venture partnership with Walmart. He also previously served as CEO of Canesta, inventor of a 3D sensing technology, and led the company through its acquisition by Microsoft for Xbox and Hololens. Earlier in his career, Jim honed his skills through roles in sales, business development, marketing, and product management, building businesses within larger corporations such as Microsoft and General Instrument.
Jim has served on boards for companies that have been acquired by Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, X (Twitter), Foxconn, and other prominent organizations. He has also worked with strategic and financial investors such as The Carlyle Group, Sequoia, NEA, Venrock, Sony, Samsung, Intel, and Honda.
Jim holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State and a MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

As IDC’s Chief Research & Data Officer, Meredith Whalen sets the strategic vision for IDC’s global research and data solutions, leading an international team of analysts who deliver insights that help the world’s largest enterprises and technology vendors navigate what’s next in the changing digital economy.
With over two decades at IDC, Meredith has been a driving force behind some of the company’s most influential research initiatives, including founding IDC’s IT Executive Research programs, launching the Industry Insights business units, and architecting the industry’s first comprehensive business use case taxonomy. Meredith also spearheaded the development of IDC’s DecisionScape methodology, a framework that helps organizations better plan, implement, and optimize their technology investments. Prior to her current role, she served as SVP of IT Executive, Industry, Software and Services Research & CIO Executive Council.
A respected thought leader and speaker, Meredith frequently delivers keynotes at global technology events and is a sought-after executive advisor on the technology trends impacting business operations.
Meredith holds a B.A. with honors from Wellesley College and MBA with honors from Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Management.
